Since several models can share one chassis type (for example, the early brown 5G7 Bandmaster, 5G5 Pro and 5G12 Concert), this kind of interpretation is inaccurate.

in NYC in the late 70's for 90 bucks and it's still working today. *WATCH THE VIDEO HERE: Hammond The Lost Les Paul Tapes1988from Jon Hammond Show/The Lost Les Paul Tapes1988.m4v The Lost Les Paul Tapes 1988 from Jon Hammond Show - Recorded April 4, 1988 NYC As seen on The Jon Hammond Show MCTV a 1988 performance of Les Paul Trio at Fat Tuesday's NYC "There's No Place Like Home" dedicated to Les' Mom aka "Sniff Along With Les" hilarious commentary from Les.

Yesterday we featured some of the lost tapes of our good friend Les Paul R. *note from Jon Hammond: apology for some slight tracking variance, the historic nature of these previously lost tapes determine I broadcast this again in Les' memory.

The earlier reissue models came with Standel built reproductions of the D130 - which use an identical cone weight and pulp formula and the same magnet energies (Danny Mc Kinney told me this). But he stopped making them because they were very expensive to make - so he began sourcing D130's. This amp has a 5 knob preamp - volume, treble, bass, contour and reverb. The reverb is really heavenly - it is very plate sounding - although it is actually a long tanked spring reverb.

I have quite a few original coned D130's and 1 reconed D130. The contour is an absolutely necessary function (for me atleast). The only reason I am selling this amp is because I actually build my own 25L15 clones and there is no reason to have both around. I know it's going to take the right kind of buyer for this amp so I am going to be patient on this sale.

The Standel company was founded by Bob Crooks, an electronics engineer, in 1953.

Crooks learned electronics from correspondence courses and began working for Lockheed.

SF, incorporating 6 Fender Twin Reverb Amps, 4 Fender Dual Showman heads and 2 big 2 x 15" Standel amps on either side with similar front panel configuration to my Artist model.

He also had his rig going through brass high frequency horns. I got my Standel amp at Silver & Horland music shop on 48th St.

Hello Everyone, I have decided to part with my reissue Standel 25L15 and Acoustic Magnifier. This amplifier set was ordered from Danny Mc Kinney back in the late 90's. This amp has some pretty spendy upgrades including gorgeous SOLID mahogany cabinets, ALL TUBE reverb (which is heavenly) and an effects loop.

The cabinets are very well done - dovetail joints and high gloss finish. For those of you who don't know what an acoustic magnifier is: it's basically another amplifier with just a power amp in.
