The AV gallery idea was inspired by Shari who wore the wonderful Gen13 Sarah Rainmaker avatar.

I dedicate this page to all my wonderful VP friends whom I met over the years, especially the old VP crew.

The Avatar system will be powered by Oculus Touch, the Rift's upcoming hand controllers, and will be available the same day Touch ships, Dec. Party chat and Oculus Rooms will come to Gear VR later this year, and to the Oculus Rift at the start of 2017.

Role-play death threats are now acceptable in private rooms and private settings designated for role-play only.

However, if the threat is deemed serious/ too graphic enough, or if it is unclear if the threat is role-play related, you will still be subject to a ban.

The Virtual Hangout was first started in 1995 as an idea inspired by some very kewl Vee Psters.

It started out as a need for a place to hang outówell, an alternative place to the dreaded start page for VP anyway.

Explore incredible locations and chat with millions of players from all around the world!

Hang out in your customisable apartment where you can relax with friends, or simply enjoy the company of your very own virtual pet.

I know that github doesn't support avatars for repositories, but gitter could easily fix the issue by allowing to upload a custom avatar/icon thingy for the room. I'm okish with github not using avatars at all for projects, but I want to have chatrooms on gitter (if I decide to use it) for a lot of graphical projects (video games) and this misleading avatar thing kinda kills it for me among other things.

If fixing this takes years while other non-essential stuff is prioritized, it's an obvious no go for me :/ Gitter is a pretty cool project but little things can break the overall experience.

Furthermore, role-play death threats in public settings (this includes sniffs, away messages in a public room and private room rules) and any other type of death threat (not role-play) still follow our normal protocols.
